PURA concept for super power India

"India lives in villages"

According to father of our nation Mahatma Gandhi,the soul of our nation rests in villages and their development itself means the country's development, Thus vision was about the concept of Panchayat Raj system or the system of  local self government. Even though we practise the system of Panchayat Raj for the past decades we still have more milestones to achieve which are highly specific in character and its behaviour changes from place to place. Hence for a vast country like India it is difficult to launch  policy's in common for all and that will surely end up in a big failure.

Actually PURA (Providing Urban Amenities in Rural Areas) is just an enlightened concept from Mahatma's ideas which has current advantage. The thought was revived by A.P.J Abdul Kalam (The former President,Scientist and the Missile Man of India) and P.V. Indereshan (Former director I.I.T. Madras), nowadays the urban areas are under pressure because rural population migrate from their native unhealthy surroundings to urban areas for jobs and comforts. When these amenities are available around their area,many wouldn't want to leave their villages. 

So PURA aims in providing those basic requirements for the villagers which are available only in urban areas. It aims in providing physical,social,economical development of Indian villages. It also reduces the pressure in the urban areas & will achieve the Gandhi's dream of self sustained villages. There are many places where PURA concept is still working on..We have some regions of Madhya pradesh , where couples are hired and trained for health,education and community development, similar efforts were reported in Maharashtra and in some rural parts of Northern India. kalam's new book likely to be a guide for those who can start new PURA project.The idea is so impressive so that development will be highly specific and it produce a very rapid change in Indian villages. This thoughts are really going to guide our country to a super power.

The country atleast needs 7000 PURA's .The Indian government is starting its PURA projects in nine states and it will be mentioned in the XII th five year plan. This same idea has a global concern and it can be implemented across the world.

Children a major concern for the nation

Women and children are usually regarded as the weakest section's of Indian society. Even though their conditions and welfare have already undergone  rapid changes in the post independence era, There exist  a lot of unsolved issues connecting them and their full fledged development is yet a dream..

Children, the expectation of our future India need a rapid concern and their education, nutrition, health, and food are the elements that should be fulfilled at the earliest in order to make our country a super power.Even though our government ensures free and compulsory education till the age of 14(viii Th std) and soon up to the age of 16(x Th std),there are no successful workout for the plans.Still we have a group of Young population who are exploited for hazardous jobs,beggary,sex etc.When the cases on the same above acts goes on increasing, How can we expect a successful outcome from the coming class of young population?

According to the reports released by National University of Education Planning and Administration(NUEPA), India's child drop out rate is still so high. Nearly 100% enrolment in the std I is one of the development goal the nation has achieved ahead of time but the drop out rate remain unchanged. It is estimated that in 2009-2010 133.4 million children enrolled in class I-V but only 54.5 million made it to class VI to VIII. Most of the children dropping out of the schools practically end up with no education at  all.,Statistics says more than 75% of the dropout's quit before class III-V, Also even the school going children are not learning enough. So it is time to renovate right to education act and to generate some practical solution for these issues.

It is also estimated that  a major share of the dropouts becomes the working class because of poverty and ignorance.They work under extremely dangerous and unhealthy surroundings,Child labour is a very common scenario particularly in the northern states. It is proved that 42%(over 1 lakh infants) of Indian children are malnutritional, And 59% suffer from stunning.Various programmes undertaken by the government has not flourished to the expected figures. A rapid and constructive development is urgently required. Children being the future of our nation should be brought up in order to achieve the concept of super power.

India the future Nuclear potential

 India  rated as the emerging top Nuclear power of the World. Even though it is not a signatory of any of the Nuclear pacts like NPT (Non Proliferation Treaty) ,It is been supplied with Nuclear fuels taking her history,friendship and peace nature with some NSG(Nuclear Suppliers Group) countries..When the global powers are imposing sanctions on us,we are waiting for their mercy to withdraw the same, As nuclear energy is the huge and future energy reserve for all the countries including India.Comparing the World economies we are still lagging behind, Accounting on the annual production of  power.Conventionally we are getting energy from more pollutant,Non Renewable energy resources like coal,petroleum,natural gas etc...India's current energy production system is as follows

                                                          64.6%-- coal based thermal energy projects

                                                          

                                                          22.6%-- hydro electric power projects

•                                                  4.6%-- nuclear power projects.

                                                                           

When the UN says we have potential for 68000 MW of green power then why should we harm the environment and exploit the Non Renewable energy resources for power ??.. When the extend of production of Solar energy, Wind energy, Tidal energy, Geothermal energy etc seems to be difficult,We have the Nuclear power which is more environmental friendly and safe also India has her plans to develop the safest breed reactors..ie


 India has her credit to develop the first thorium based safest  N-reactor,Also she ranks top in the reserves of thorium, Which is graded as the safest Nuclear fuel (free from chain reaction and Nuclear contamination). India owns 25% of the global thorium, Particularly in Indian seashores. According to our Missile man Abdul khalam it is going to serve us as a future energy revolution..

Why should we go for the crude oil and the Nuclear fuels from NSG, And to spend a lot of money to import energy..

THE CONCEPT:

The India,just say the one and only super power in the world..you might be embarrassed hearing this..the very next moment your mind tweets, America?? Russia?? china??

The question i want to ask you is very simple and clear,why not India??

Majority of the contributions towards science culture,wealth were once part of India.And all the navigators & explorers  once targeted India due to the same aspect. They wanted our culture,science,wealth,..and so..At some point they invaded and plundered our wealth,science,concepts,and they developed to became what they are now..

The scenario continues the same equilibrium now..It is time for a rapid change.We have a huge potential human resource & a surplus amount of energy reserve for us." But where our resources are being utilised??
